Submitting a Prescription to NMS from an Out of Province Prescriber
When the prescriber is registered outside of Ontario, the Prescriber Type must be set to Carrier Designated out of Province. The License # must be set in the Doctor Folder as shown in the table below, corresponding to the licensing province. You may wish to record the prescriber’s actual license number in the Doctor Folder Notes tab for reference purposes.
